Just FYI, I'm posting 100 theme art challenge pics in my scrapbook. Because I might just end up sketching random things that are aint complete. I want to bundle them altogether, so they are pasted there.

- just got Suikoden Tierkries NDS game. (will be drawing less when i start playing)
- Took up 100 theme challenge (self initiation), hope i can cover at least 50 or more by end of the year.
- slacking from my own webcomic.
- picked up a design pitching for facelifting a tow truck

I wanna say sorry for taking down an artwork of mine that was submitted today. I got a gentle reminder from a friend that possibility of violating the TnC ^^ wow, didnt know there was sucha term. but i only realise when it was mentioned. even with the added strict, that too oso not allowed ah. oh wells.

I will be careful in uploading art the next time.

UPDATE. FYI the pic is OK to be posted in da after much clarification. phew. but I won't be putting up the pic I took down. Sorrie for disappointing anyone. I like how my friend kinda described my works. the artwork kinda eclipsed the message, so i really needa work hard on avoiding that.

I dun have to flip through papers or sit infront of the tv to get all the latest catastrophy. I have the biggest nerve to be ignoring all the deaths, and waiting for my own dooms day.

Yah some may think EXAM is not all that big of thing. But if u were never given ample time to revise or even study?? its just so... scary. i still have assignments to do. n my final finals is like in 2 weeks time.

if nothing fails. Im scott free from my degree. at last. but if i dun make it through, i will have to waste 1 more year in anticipation for 2 subjects im more afraid of JUST for me to get a bloody certificate. I DUN WAN to waste money n time em.

I feel very lost in da. like i dun even remember how to get to the text box where i can journal? My mind must be too occupied.

In the end no wan asked for commission. I dun feel anything about it. But i still need money tho.

My 3 weeks hols is finally over. Final sem starts tomolo and im quite excited bout it. But im not too looking forward towards working life after that. The last 3 weeks were so filled with events. I really do wish at times that i don't get that many hols. Im busier and poorer when im on holiday. deep sigh.


BTW, no wan reads this. just wanna rant somewhere other than my lj, since ive neglected this bit of web space. ehehehe.

i managed to,
used up all my savings and last revenue from a project.
finished my hugo's costume. I CAN proudly say that my hugo cosplay is 100% self made. but i had alot of.. help fr friends on touching up the patterns.
and determined to finish hugo's weapons before july ends. and source for 2nd wigs. (need help, anyone has.. faded yellow/blonde short hair wig.. im interested)
finish hp submission and can finally get serious with own core doujin circle's art.
met alot of old friends and new friends and my trip to spore was very refreshing. I enjoyed it alot.
be blessed with alot of figurines. ehehe.. both gifts from friends are from bleach. ahahaha.. thanx!

mess up my room and run out of place for storing books again.

pls pls pls, kino i beg u don't fail me this time in subscribing to this mag. i can forfeit every artbook but not S mag. its really that important.

review - for most of u who really enjoy "jp/mixed style", the collection in this magazine is fantastic in its variety. it ranges from trad art to digital illustrations, manga to doujinshi to anime, photography and even DOLLS by many2 artists. anything from whence can u think of to very modern contemporary style. its a quarterly mag so 1 year there's only 4 issues. Price varies from where u get the book. each issues' artwork is based on one theme. the lastest would be "witch". the site below shares more than i can possibly think of.  (but don't get it from ebay. ungodly prices)

a new found collectable from china. ; So glad to be able to collect these books.. been wishing for a year now. came true.

review : Oh dear, i never thought that i can be so faithful to some of the very old timer artists from A-club (hk acg mag). A few of the artists found in the link above have very accentric style. im not very good in descriptive stuffs, but do get inspired by artist that are around the same age as myself no? (this isn't a review TT)
The mag aka china comickers do adopt abit from the jp comickers ; but it focuses alot on MANGA. which is very rare for most mags. alot of tutorials, be it watercolour, cging., n how to draw manga pages. most enlightening if u think all tutorials are the same. it oso runs short manga stories. would recommend this for doujinshi/manga lovers. Sadly the book is very rare. for it to appear locally was a stunning discovering.
the same link as another smaller manga mag = candy girl. it really felt like reading original doujinshi. I love that feeling.

a tw acg mag, that has influences from newtype/animage/aclub/cosplay mags
this was my sorta substitute of a-club defficiency.

review : its a monthly issue, grabs everything that's eye catching n puts it into the mag. ehehe.. i buy for the sake of.. pictures. ahaha since i don't have excess funds for jp acg mags (mentioned above), i do hafta buy affordable reference books. in the beginning it was bcos there was vofan's art that got me supporting frontier. but now..  it has solid stuffs like. discussions on doujinshi, manga, anime, reviews on acg. but not as comprehensive and informative as newtype/animage. ^^ll n has a very special section for bl articles. hmm..  but the printing quality is good.. nothing less for the price it charges.


wat bout the local mags u ask? i see if i can find some time to tok on em... but i can tell u that.. my room doesn't have room for plenty. ^^ll
n i quitted collecting phonebooks cos i don't clear my old stuffs n running out of space.

actually i have eyes for quite a no. of doujinka/artists (besides jp).. in hk, china, tw, kr, thai, sg... etc. mainly asian regions. msian doujin is picking up. the rate is not exponential but. potential is there. my favs don't just stop there.. i hav very MIXED taste. anything art goes. AHHH.. that's y im broke. gerrr.
